XP Software changes name to XP Solutions
XP Software, a creator of water collection system modeling software, announced today the evolution of its global brand to XP Solutions.
Since 1974 XP Software has assisted over 4,000 municipal departments and private firms around the globe in their hydro-environmental 3D modeling efforts. In March 2008, XP Software was joined by Micro Drainage, the United Kingdom-based developer of the drainage design suite, WinDes. With capabilities beyond just water collection software, XP Software and Micro Drainage are now rebranding to XP Solutions, solutions for a sustainable environment.
XP Solution’s team of engineers in North America, Australia and the United Kingdom interact with an international network of research and development groups to more effectively share skills, advance technology and foster an environment of innovation. This system of teamwork and collaboration with both business partners and customers has established a strong and reliable organization, evolved trailblazing technology and empowered an extensive list of customers with tools and support.
XP Solutions will continue its efforts to serve engineers, provide innovative software solutions and increase awareness about advancing concepts and practices in modeling through its new website, http://www.xpsolutions.com.
XP Solution’s package, XPSWMM, and its sister product, XPSTORM, are packages for modeling the generation of runoff and the transport of flows and pollutants, throughout drainage systems ranging from pipe drainage systems up to large river systems. XP2D, coupled with either XPSWMM or XPSTORM, has made an substatial impact on flood modeling and mitigation efforts that protect both property and lives. WinDes continues to be an industry design standard in the United Kingdom and is expanding its reach into the Middle East and around the world.
