Webinar to help design and construction professionals cut costs during closeout

PASADENA, CALIF./AUSTIN, TEXAS — Design and construction professionals looking for new ways to cut costs during closeout will have a unique learning opportunity next week. Bluebeam Software and Motion Computing are teaming up to present a case study webinar titled, “Take PDF Punchlists Mobile with Tablet PCs.”

The complimentary, hour-long webinar will show architects and contractors how PDF editor Bluebeam PDF Revu and Motion Tablet PCs can take punch and backcheck processes digital and mobile, saving a tremendous amount of man hours.

Attendees will learn from an architect who completed the punch process for the Terranea Resort, a $500-million, 582-room project in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., by taking advantage of exclusive PDF markup and editing features in Bluebeam. The architect simultaneously created detailed punchlists and redlined a PDF drawing of all issues on the fly, achieving a 90-percent completion rate upon first back check.

“The winning combination of Bluebeam PDF Revu on Motion Tablet PCs can help punch teams save hundreds of man hours,” said Teresa Acosta, Bluebeam Software director of partner programs. “This webinar is the perfect opportunity for all architects and construction professionals interested in saving big during closeout to learn how to put Bluebeam and Motion Computing to work for them.”

“Take PDF Punchlists Mobile with Tablet PCs” is being held Wednesday, August 11 at 1 p.m. Central Standard Time. Registration is required and may be completed online at www.motioncomputing.com/promotions/webinars.asp. Attendees will be eligible to receive $500 off the purchase of their first Motion Tablet PC, which may be redeemed through Motion Computing.
