Turner Construction to utilize Solibri software to gain greater value from BIM

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Solibri Inc. has announced an agreement with Turner Construction Co. for the firm’s use of Solibri software nationwide to support the enhancement of Turner’s BIM Quality Assurance, 5D Quantity Take-off, and 3D Clash Detection capabilities.

“Forming a relationship with Turner has been a priority for me. We value the relationship with Turner,” Jonathan Widney, CEO of Solibri LLC said. “They are at the forefront of BIM use and collaboration in the building industry, and as an early BIM adopter they continue to push for greater innovation that adds immediate value to their clients. Solibri is committed to being a good partner to them and the industry in the development of leading edge tools that enhance and improve design and construction processes.”

James P. Barrett, national director of integrated building solutions at Turner added: “With a portfolio of more than 200 BIM projects with a construction value of $30 billion, we have chosen to maintain a software ‘agnostic’ approach to BIM. This enables us to seek out the most efficient and effective tool to achieve the desired result for our clients. Solibri is a BIM tool that supports the continued advancement of our company’s BIM capabilities.”
