Spitfire partners with Alinco IT to provide cloud solution

ARMONK, N.Y. — Spitfire Management LLC has selected Alinco IT Inc. as its Microsoft-certified platform partner to offer Spitfire’s Construction Project Management Software solution via private cloud.

Alinco IT will provide the infrastructure and IT management support for the cloud environment. Using the Microsoft Dynamic Data Center model and the Spitfire Project Management System, along with their expertise and knowledge of industry best practices, Alinco IT will support clients of any size with offices within the USA and with global presence.

Together, Spitfire and Alinco will provide a central-structured solution that offers project management, project accounting, document control, routing, integrated communication, and record-keeping functionality. Clients will find that several time-consuming tasks, that once required a great deal of company resources, can be replaced with a more efficient and less costly solution.

"Microsoft's current cloud initiative has allowed Alinco to deliver a cloud model that is supported directly by Microsoft. Spitfire's.NET framework was designed from the ground up to integrate well with that initiative,” said Albert Chang Jr., president of Alinco IT. “The marriage will provide an automated delivery engine that will allow this product to compete in the online space almost immediately.”

By taking complete responsibility for the customers' computing infrastructure, Alinco IT allows its customers to focus on managing business, not technology, the company said. Customers receive immediate results and long-term values by increasing uptime to the market and decreasing hardware/software needs.

Alinco IT partners with Internet Data Centers (IDCs) to provide the physical environment necessary to keep customers servers up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This dedication to service is one of the reasons Spitfire Management chose Alinco IT as a partner, Spitfire said.

"For over fifteen years our management has worked in some fashion with Alinco. The team has provided not only quality technical assistance and support but stayed ahead of the curve keeping client's business management systems ready for the future," said Steve Powers, vice president of sales at Spitfire. “Once again this shows we listen to the needs of current and potential clients, to trim internal operating costs and offer advanced collaborative solutions required in the construction market."
