SITEOPS adds Topo Import module
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – BLUERIDGE Analytics added a Topo Import module to its web-based software, SITEOPS, that it says allows users to jumpstart the conceptual phase of site design, revolutionizing the speed and ease with which civil engineers, architects, and land developers are able to acquire integral and accurate data. As an add-on module, Topo Import is fully integrated with SITEOPS, conceptual site planning software that allows users to create and analyze multiple layouts, grading plans, and preliminary budgets to save time and money in the land development process. A user enters an address or intersection, previews the data available, and downloads topography and imagery directly into SITEOPS within seconds.
"Topo Import is a game changer," said Mike Detwiler, president and CEO of BLUERIDGE Analytics, Inc. "The ability to, in a matter of minutes, go from Google maps to your cost-optimized site plan, complete with grading and stormwater design, without ever leaving SITEOPS, will forever revolutionize the AEC industry and site design process."
With this addition to the SITEOPS suite, users can access the highest quality topographic data in currently available CAD products, import the newest data available from the U.S. Geological Survey, and export files to other standard CAD products.
The base product, SITEOPS Layout and all optional module add-ons are offered as an annual license with unlimited use. For a complete list of the SITEOPS suite, visit www.siteops.com.
