IMAGINiT Technologies experts to speak on the benefits of BIM

FRAMINGHAM, MASS. — Rand Worldwide has announced that experts from its IMAGINiT Technologies division will be speaking on the benefits of building information modeling (BIM) at key global Canadian conferences.

The first presentation takes place March 8 at the 93rd Annual Canadian Construction Association conference in Hawaii. Another presentation will be given on March 23 at the Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario conference in Costa Rica. Both conferences will feature diverse audiences of senior leaders and decision makers in the Canadian construction industry. Brian Gauthier, senior account representative at IMAGINiT Technologies, is recognized internationally for his deep knowledge of BIM processes and will be addressing both of these audiences.

“These presentations closely examine the effect of BIM technology on the Canadian Construction industry and how we have assisted clients to deliver successful results,” said Gauthier. “I will be exploring the challenges and benefits which BIM processes bring to architectural, construction, engineering, facility management and manufacturing organizations. Companies who are blazing trails with BIM such as DIALOG, Adamson Associates Architects, and WZMH Architects, will be used as innovative Canadian examples.”

In addition, on March 25, IMAGINiT’s Building Solutions Team Manager John Jansen will take part in a presentation entitled ‘New Developments in the Power of BIM’ at Insight Information’s Building Information Modeling Forum in Toronto. Jansen will share knowledge gained during his more than 20 years of planning and executing system implementations, training, and software customization.

“Audiences from Canada and beyond continue to seek direction on the enormous range of possibilities which BIM can offer, both from a technical and a business perspective,” said Bill Zavadil, senior vice president, IMAGINiT Worldwide Services, IMAGINiT Technologies. “Our global team of BIM professionals is in demand because they incorporate learning from their vast experience, cross pollination of ideas across verticals and the best practices from our 50 offices around the world.”
