CoreconLink 8.0 achieves certified integration with SAP Business One
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF. — Corecon Technologies, a Web-based software developer for the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry, announced its CoreconLink 8.0 solution has achieved certified integration with the SAP Business One application. CoreconLink 8.0 provides a bridge between Corecon V7 and SAP Business One 8.8. With this utility, all project financials entered into Corecon V7 can be transferred easily to SAP Business One, eliminating duplicate data entry and maintaining consistency across the organization.
The SAP Integration and Certification Center (ICC) has certified that CoreconLink 8.0 has proven to interoperate with SAP Business One via the SAP Business One Software Development Kit (SDK) 8.8. The SDK also helps to ensure that CoreconLink 8.0 is properly authenticated prior to receiving access to SAP Business One data.
“Corecon is dedicated to providing its clients with collaborative software that addresses all aspects of the construction process, including critical accounting functions,” said Norman Wendl, president Corecon Technologies. “Through certified integration with SAP Business One, CoreconLink provides accountants and financial controllers — who also use SAP Business One — with a streamlined link to collaborate quickly and more effectively with other project team members.”
CoreconLink for use with SAP Business One is ideal for small to midsize construction companies that have annual sales of $15 to $150 million. The CoreconLink product family also includes links to Intuit QuickBooks, Sage Simply for Accounting, and Microsoft Outlook. These add-ons can be downloaded from within Corecon V7.
Corecon V7 features estimating, project management and job-cost control capabilities. These include the ability to ascertain unit prices and assemblies with drill-down menus or to request, collect and update prices directly from subcontractors and suppliers. The software also allows clients to immediately transfer estimate data to job-cost budgets, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders and to track estimated versus actual costs, revenue, labor, and equipment hours ensuring accurate billing. CoreconLink allows clients to integrate all of these features with the power of SAP Business One. And because Corecon V7 is Web-based and smart phone and tablet compatible, it can be accessed by key individuals in multiple locations instantly.
