Corecon releases three new editions of V7

Corecon Technologies, Inc., a  web-based construction software manufacturer, recently introduced three new options for its flagship product Corecon V7. The new Collaboration, Standard and Estimating Only Editions of Corecon V7 are specifically designed to provide value to architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firms that do not require all the functionality included in the current Project Management and Pro Editions.

Corecon V7 provides firms visibility into every facet of construction project management and includes modules for business development, estimating, contract administration, procurement, time tracking, document control, correspondence, and scheduling.  According to Corecon Technologies’ president Norman Wendl, “With our new Editions, Corecon now provides more software options for AEC firms who are looking to improve their operations. As the AEC firm grows or changes, they can switch Editions with minimal impact to their operation.”

For example, the Corecon V7 Collaboration Edition is for construction firms that already have an accounting/job cost system but need a more collaborative  project management software solution.

“Since Corecon V7 can work on any mobile device, this will be especially attractive for companies that have a lot of field staff who need access to project information anywhere, anytime. “ The Collaboration Edition is a very compelling solution when coupled with the upcoming release of the TeamLink Portal, which will provide both Corecon subscribers and outside project team members (owners, vendors and consultants) with a secure, collaborative self-service portal to store and share project data at no extra cost,” concludes Wendl.

The new Standard Edition is designed for smaller firms such as remodelers who do not need all of the correspondence documentation features found in the Pro and Project Management Editions, but primarily need estimating and job costing software. Companies that choose this Edition will also be able to use the CoreconLink utilities to integrate with various accounting packages including QuickBooks, Sage Simply Accounting and MYOB.

The Corecon V7 Estimating Only Edition was developed for companies that are looking for an estimating and bid management solution to aid with tracking and securing projects. This solution will allow firms to track leads, identify when bids are due, develop a cost database, prepare estimates and manage the bid solicitation process using Request for Pricing (RFP) Packages which are integrated with the estimate. Lead tracking Dashboards are also available with this Edition for reviewing win/loss ratios.

The Collaboration, Standard, and Estimating Only Editions are priced at $20-$40 per user, per month. Corecon also offers discounts for five or more users. This compares to the Pro and Project Management Editions which are offered at $50-$60 per user, per month.
