Carlson Software 3rd Annual User Conference

MAYSVILLE, KY. — Carlson Software’s “Partnering You With the World” User Conference will be held Nov. 7 – 10 at the historic Brown Hotel in Louisville, Ky. The 3rd annual event, which was previously held in the spring, was moved to the late fall time slot to enable those attending to have the chance to work with Carlson’s 2011 office software release prior to arrival so they could come armed with specific questions and requests to further their understanding and use of the upgraded products, the company said.

Registration is now open with track options including SurvCE/Field, Survey, Civil, Construction, 3D Model Building & BIM, Machine Control, Mining and Electives, which includes classes devoted to Carlson Point Cloud, Carlson GIS, IntelliCAD, and Carlson working with ESRI. The company said more emphasis has been given to the rising disciplines of model building and machine control in this year's class schedule with the addition of two tracks devoted entirely to those subjects.

Attendees may concentrate on one track or they have the option to pick and choose their favorites from among the various “tracks.” Each session will be led by Carlson instructor, including staff from Carlson College members, plus Carlson Software management, developers, dealers and select, expert users of the software.

The main classes are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 8 and 9. New this year, and scheduled on Nov. 10, is a class dedicated to Point Cloud demonstrations on scanning equipment by select manufacturers. In addition, for law enforcement personnel or consultants, special CSI (Carlson Software Investigation) Mobile and CSI Office classes will be held throughout the day on Wednesday.
