Carlson celebrates 30th Anniversary at User Conference

MAYSVILLE, KY. — The Carlson 30th Anniversary User Conference will be held April 7-10, 2013, in Cincinnati. The three-day conference is designed to provide the tools its attendees need to be at the forefront of the rapidly changing technical aspects of the land development and mining industries.

“Carlson Software has had a lot of ‘industry firsts’ in its 30-year history,” says Bruce Carlson, president and founder of Carlson Software, “and we have several more to present this year. We have breakthrough cross-platform, Android and phone-based field solutions, plus major updates across all office and field products. Our 30th Anniversary User Conference will enable clients from around the world to improve their skills and stay out in front in the constantly evolving industries Carlson serves.”

The three days will include comprehensive training on Carlson’s newest software, exciting industry speakers, guest presenters, a celebration banquet, demonstrations of Carlson’s newest hardware offerings and much more, all designed to improve both productivity and efficiency. New class offerings include “meet the programmers,” which will allow attendees to communicate their wants and future needs directly to those who will be providing them, and an entire track of classes to be conducted in Spanish.

Course tracks include Data Collection/Mobile, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction, GIS, Machine Control, Mining (Underground, Surface), and for law enforcement and accident/crime reconstruction, select classes for Carlson CSI Mobile and Office. In addition to presentations by experienced Carlson staff over the three days, 12 guest presenters who are tops in their fields will also be providing instruction. Carlson will provide Certificates of Completion for each class attended, which can be presented to state organizations for CEUs and PDHs (attendees are encouraged to check with his or her state organization to determine its CEU and/or PDH acceptance/regulations).

The full cost of the Carlson Software 30th Anniversary User Conference is $975. Sign up before March 15 and take advantage of the Early Bird rate of $895.
