Burrtech offers free use of eTransmittal software for one year

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, COLO. — Burtech Corp., developer of the eTransmittal document transfer and tracking tool for architecture, engineering and construction companies (AEC), has announced it is accepting applications — and will award three AEC firms (one in each category) — free use of its eTransmittal tool for one year.

In return, participating companies will be asked to track simple expenses such as shipping and courier services, printing and paper usage, ftp site usage, improvements in billable hours, and any instances where they proved compliance with deadlines tied to monetary penalties using eTransmittal for an efficiency study and white paper.

Application deadline is Monday, Sept. 6, 2010.

“eTransmittal is a powerful AEC productivity tool that’s incredibly easy to use, and can be learned in 15 minutes,” said Justin Culver, Burrtech CEO. “Any architecture, engineering, or construction firm that wants to speed up project cycles, increase accountability of project team members, or significantly reduce their paper usage and shipping/courier costs should apply.”

eTransmittal falls into a new category of AEC software called “document transfer technologies.” eTransmittal simplifies, streamlines, and automates the exchange and of AEC documents, and is particularly helpful for sending, receiving, and tracking large-file-size documents such as CAD drawings, the company said. This Web-based software tool allows firms to securely transmit and track large files of any type (CAD drawings, PDFs, MS-Word documents, photographs, etc).
