BJAC releases podcast on BIM and 3D imaging

RALEIGH, N.C. — Lou Jurkowski, FAIA and chief executive officer of BJAC, has announced the release of a podcast on Building Information Modeling (BIM) and 3D imaging.

In this podcast, BIM administrator and building modeler, Eric Stewart discusses new technologies that are revolutionizing architectural design and drafting. He describes in detail how this technology improves product design and communication of design.

Stewart explains how BIM benefits the entire life cycling of planning, design, construction, and facility maintenance and operation, as well as how it enhances green and environmentally friendly initiatives.

“These new technologies provide a distinct advantage over other architects who use older technology,” Stewart said. “This podcast details what BIM and 3D imaging can do for our clients in all stages of the design and construction process.”
