Esri and PCI Geomatics selected 24 organizations to develop and apply innovative methods for using GIS to analyze imagery for land-use management. Through the Esri Natural Resources Imagery Grant Program, Esri and PCI Geomatics provide each grant recipient with software and data valued at $100,000.

WALTHAM, Mass. – Holcim (US) Inc. announced that an enhanced version of its weatherAPP is now available globally. The application, which was launched at last year's World of Concrete trade show, is designed to help construction professionals determine the quality of conditions for placing concrete. This global version of the App has updated features including a function that converts temperature scales and measurement systems while monitoring temperatures worldwide.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Axium, a developer of project management and accounting software for engineering and architecture firms, announced today that CEO and President Alan and Cathy Mills retired. Axium ownership transitioned to Chris Heim and Dan Mayleben from 2ndWave Software, Axium’s current leadership team, existing shareholders and General Catalyst Partners.


» Vectorworks releases new version of Cloud service   Nemetschek Vectorworks

Nemetschek Vectorworks has released a new version of the Vectorworks Cloud Services mobile application, Vectorworks Nomad 1.0.9, and desktop application, version 1.0.14.

Among various fixes and improvements in the Nomad 1.0.9 application, users can now access previous versions of Vectorworks files synchronized to their Vectorworks Cloud Services account, allowing them to view the history of changes and markups in each project.
