Raul Cruz, Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer, AECOM
Raul Cruz serves as AECOM’s chief information officer; his responsibilities include alignment of technical strategy to business objectives, as well as operations, security, governance of information technology and related activities. Prior to joining AECOM, Raul had significant and broad-based experience in several financial and service industries, including computer facilities and management, architectural and engineering professional consulting, and technical management consulting, wireless and wireline telecommunications infrastructure, life insurance and annuity, as well as property and casualty insurance.
Demystifying the Cloud: Virtualization and the AEC Industry
Chris France, CIO, Little
Chris France has specialized in information technology for over two decades. He started his career at IBM Federal Systems as a software and systems engineer and progressed to program manager of major DOD systems. From IBM, he worked at Bank of America where he led efforts to merge and consolidate the information technology of major bank acquisitions. Prior to becoming the CIO of Little, he consulted in the technology-intense Wachovia Capital Markets. At Little, Chris not only leads the firm’s information technology strategy, planning and operations, but he also works with clients to ensure that their diverse technology needs are addressed and incorporated during the design process of their new facility.

John Moebes, AIA NCARB, Director of Construction, Crate&Barrel
John Moebes joined Crate&Barrel as the Director of Construction in 2006. Prior to that, he was an Associate Principal at Good Fulton & Farrell Architects in Dallas where he oversaw the firm’s development and use of workflow technology. John is recognized as a leader in the uses of Internet-based project management tools, Building Information Modeling, and digital document review to improve project performance. Having worked for Modern Continental Construction and Wholefoods Markets, John has experience in all sectors of the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry. John received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts and his Master’s Degree from the University of Texas.
Jonathan Cohen, FAIA, LEED AP, Principal, Jonathan Cohen and Associates
Jonathan Cohen provides consulting services to building owners, architects, and builders seeking to implement IPD. He has been a practicing architect for more than 30 years, most recently with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. He is past chair of the AIA California Council Integrated Project Delivery Steering Committee and the national AIA Technology in Architectural Practice Knowledge Community. Jonathan is the author of Communication and Design with the Internet: A Guide for Architects, Planners and Building Professionals (WW Norton, 2000) as well as articles for Architectural Record, Urban Land, and Planning magazines. He was elected to the AIA College of Fellows in 2004. He has received design awards from the American Institute of Architects, AIA San Francisco, and the Urban Land Institute.
